Her expertise is influenced by the knowledge and experiences at P & O Nedlloyd Keells (Pvt) Ltd, a joint venture between P&O Nedlloyd BV (then the 4th largest container line in the world) and John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka.

Nilu has also been an instrumental player at Aitken Spence Shipping Limited, a part of Aitken Spence PLC, one of the largest conglomerates in the country, for more than 15 years heading a strategic business unit of the Group. She is also a qualified Chartered Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (MCIM), Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, UK (MICS) and a Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, UK (MILT).

 An accomplished professional with 18 years of experience in the shipping and logistics sector. With a background in sales and marketing, he previously served as the Manager – Sales and Marketing at Aitken Spence Maritime Limited, where he played a vital role in driving business growth.

In pursuit of new opportunities, Dhanushka joined SALOTA International (Pvt) Ltd as the Business Development Manager. Since 2016, he has been actively involved in pursuing outbound business opportunities in the European market and other geographies. He possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in customs house brokerage (CHB) and third-party logistics (3PL) operations for both air freight and sea freight.

Furthermore, Dhanushka is currently serving as the company focal for the Canada branch office, focusing on developing the trade lane. With his diverse skill set and experience, he contributes significantly to expanding SALOTA International's presence and trade relations in Canada, North America. Dhanushka is currently reading for his MBA at University Canada West, Vancouver, Canada.

 Madhu has 20 years of combined experience in the liner, NVOC, and logistics sectors. International Trade and Transportation Certificate holder from Academy for International Trade and Transport.

Before joining SALOTA, she worked for many leading logistics icons including Ceyline Group – pioneers in shipping in Sri Lanka. She plays a crucial role in overseeing key accounts and trades for significant customers in a variety of industrial verticals. Due to her background in the NVOC and freight sectors, it led to her becoming the SIL Line – SALOTA’s NVOC arm as the cluster head and helped to the development through her logistical skills.

Madhu is an executive member of SLANA – Sri Lanka Association of NVOCC Agents and WISTA – Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association. She is also a member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. Madhu is currently reading for her MBA at University of Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.

Having commenced her career as Sales and Marketing Executive at Hanjin Shipping (2006-2009) to Route Development Manager at Pership Group of Companies (2009-2013), Rachini joined SALOTA International in 2013 as Business Development Manager. With CIM (UK) qualification and over 17 years of experience in the Shipping and Logistics Industry, Rachini is very passionate about delivering promises and has a thorough knowledge of Air and Ocean products as well as 5PL operations. Her vast knowledge and passion for customer satisfaction has been the key to building a niche clientele across diverse industry verticals.

She currently serves in the capacity of General Manager – Business Development and is overall in-charge of developing the North America Trade Lane. Rachini functions as the main focal in negotiations with liners and agents alike overseeing development of the North America Tradelane. She is widely regarded as SALOTA’s very own US / Canada Specialist among the logistics fraternity.

Rachini is self-motivated, travelling outside Sales personal with proven track record in the logistics industry with international work experience with clients, agents across globe has assisted to strike completive edge over competition.

 Fresh after completing his secondary education, Rahula joined CMA-CGM in the mid 1990’s and thereafter moved to Mercantile Cargo Consolidators (subsequently renamed Maersk Logistics and DAMCO) from 1999 to 2005 before joining Mack International Freight representing DB Schenker Group for a brief period. He rejoined the liner segment with Eastern Maritime (Colombo) Limited as agent for PIL. Prior to his current employment, Rahula was Senior Manager at Expolanka Freight (Pvt) Limited handling a diverse Key Account Portfolio.

Rahula handles a niche clientele both local and overseas in his current employment as General Manager – Business Development. He is responsible for overseeing SALOTA’s penetration in to the CIS / Central Asia region via multiple routes / is entrusted with new route and agent development in addition to client retention.

 Anushika Lokunarangoda is the Head of Group Finance for SALOTA International (Private) Limited. She is a key professional responsible for ensuring the financial stability of the organization by conducting accurate data analysis and offer advices to senior management on strategies to maximize profits, securing long-term success for the company.

Mrs. Lokunarangoda joined SALOTA International in 2014 and she has been working in the capacity of managerial position since 2017. With more than 13 years of experience and her expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning, she plays a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company’s growth and profitability with align with organizations’ long-term goals. Anushika is engaging with monitoring financial performances while identifying areas for improvement to capitalize the opportunities in order to continue company’s operations in effective manner.

She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. Anushika is a Certified Business Accountant (CBA) and holds professional qualifications from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) and Masters of Business Administration (Finance Special) from Bedfordshire University, United Kingdom.

 As the former Regional Customer Services Manager of Maersk Line Sri Lanka (then the world’s largest shipping line), till July 2016 and Sales Manager of Maersk Line and Maersk Logistics Sri Lanka from 2006 to 2008 and had been a part of John Keells Group companies (the largest & most diversified listed conglomerate in Sri Lanka) for two decades, Neil boasts a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience in the arena of Logistics and Shipping.

His expertise extends further while heading Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services functions for P&O Nedlloyd Sri Lanka (till 2006), which at the time ranked 4th largest container line in the world and represented by a subsidiary of John Keells Company.

Served in the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Freight Forwarders’ Association (SLFFA) from 2008 to 2012 and in the Executive Committee of Ceylon Association of Ships’ Agents (CASA) for a period of two years from 2015 to 2016 representing the respective employers.

Neil functions as the Chief Commercial Officer and is responsible to drive Company’s Business Development strategies.

Neil is a Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport UK (MILT).

 A trailblazer by nature, Mr. Kolitha Wickremasinghe is the founder of SALOTA International (Private) Limited an international freight forwarding service provider which is in operation since 2013. Mr. Wickremasinghe counts more than 25 years of experience in the Shipping & Logistics industry. Having joined the industry in 1992, he has served in several multinational giants in the industry locally and overseas. P &O Nedloyed, Expeditors, UTI are a few to name. Over the past two decades he has held senior management positions at John Keells, Freight Links International (Pvt) Ltd and Pership group, in Sri Lanka.

Kolitha Wickremasinghe is a qualified professional with proven expertise in excellent planning, problem solving, decision making, business development and market know-how. He has travelled the globe and possess intensive exposure and experience in supply chain management in different parts of the world. He is a well experienced service provider in shipping and logistics sector with sound knowledge in international trade, supply chain solutions and operational issues.

Under his guidance, SALOTA International engages in various CSR projects which includes long term scholarships for students in deserving families, supporting well being of rural families, donations and upgrading facilities of hospitals and schools in need etc.

 Nadeeka Bandarigoda is the Head of Customer Service, Documentation & Operations for SALOTA International (Private) Limited. Her leadership includes oversight of SALOTA International’s group companies & teams. In this position, she provides vision & direction for drives an innovative solution for documentation handling into various countries and establishing procedures for smooth handling of operation and demonstrate its commitment to providing excellent service to customers.

Nadeeka joined SALOTA International in 2014 and more than 15 years of experience and she has been working in the capacity of managerial position since 2016 in the shipping & logistics industry. Her expertise covers logistics, shipping and customs house brokerage for Sea, Air, Cross Trade and Entrepot Trade including 5PL operations.

Nadeeka completed her MBA in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from the Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. She also holds professional qualifications in Shipping and International Freight Forwarding & Transport, AMS filling, FMC rate agreements handling, DG cargo handling, specialization in special documentation handling in shipping to around the globe & supply chain management. Nadeeka is following a Diploma in Human Resource Management from Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Sri Lanka.
